How to Find Your Router IP Address on Windows, Mac, Android, and iPhone
Your router IP address is the local network address used to communicate with your router from devices connected to your home or office network.
You may need this address when you want to open your router settings, check Wi-Fi configuration, change network options, troubleshoot a connection, or view devices connected to your network.

The address displayed next to Router is the local IP address of your gateway.
Router IP vs public IP address
Your router may have more than one IP address.
On the local network, it typically has a private address such as:
192.168.1.1
Your internet connection may also use a public IP address that websites see when you connect to them.

What is a default gateway?

How to open your router settings
Once you know the router IP address, you can usually enter it into your web browser.

Why can't I open my router IP address?
If the router address does not open in your browser, several explanations are possible.
- You may be using the wrong IP address.
- You may not be connected to the router's network.
- The administration interface may use HTTPS instead of HTTP.

- Your network may use another gateway device.
